Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Having my front windshield replaced and removed cowl cover, plan to replace. The parts diagram shows my cowl cover part 4: 99657225630401C, which is identical to what I removed from my car. It also shows a Cowl. Panel. Grille. Cowl panel. Coupe. Cowl Panel. Grille Panel for Cowl. Protective / decorative cover for Cowl. Cover. top. Part 3: 99650252701GRV Am I missing something, does anyone know what the cowl panel grille cover is or where it goes? Thanks Dave

I find that picture a little confusing. Correct part numbers here: https://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-...section=813-20

POST 3Original post

996 572 256 304 01C is the part you want, the other P/N is the actual metal cowl body panel. You didn't mention your car year or location so I am asssuming an early 996.1 (up to 2000) & LHD? Also, you might want to change the gasket (996 572 931 00) and new matching screw covers X2 (996 572 569 00 01C).
