Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Which oem car cover for 2004 c4s convertible. Turbo or Carrera

POST 3Original post

I looked at measurements of 2004 C4S because I just bought one recently. There was a car cover for a different P-car, don't remember exactly. Anyway, I compared height, width, and length, and the other car (maybe a 991) . The C4S was within 1/2" of all of the measurements so I bought the car cover. It hasn't arrived yet, but I bet it will fit just fine. As DeJeeper says, "hips" make the width important. Maybe there is a Turbo cover that does not have an added "pocket flap" for the rear spoiler? If so, then the cover will just fit over everything, but may be looser on the back engine lid/spoiler area. It's a car cover, not a Mona Lisa. YMMV

FWIW avoid SealSkin, the one they sent was kinda oversized, yea "custom" fit. Also it's really heavy for a car cover, probably lead lined for spicy rocks. Sunset has OEM looking ones under C4S, also seen some under the SilverGuard label but after trying to order it got an email saying my order is canceled and the cover has been out of production. \_(ツ)_/

POST 5Original post

Indoor or outdoor? Big difference! I got a generic 996 one made of some stretchy material, perfect for indoor. Fits over the C4S hips and GT2 wing just fine.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
