Hi guys. I am thinking of driving from San Antonio to Spokane in an old 928 this summer. Spokane is my destination next year, after my youngest son graduates HS. It will be a tough trip without cruise control, but we all make our sacrifices somehow This is a blanket thread that I am posting in most of the specific make threads here on Rennlist. I am looking for advice re: Spokane Parade. I am planning on relocating to the Spokane/ Western Idaho area in summer of 2018. I figure that the Spokane event 2017 could be a great excuse for a reconnaissance road trip there this summer. in my 25 round trips to SF/LA in my porsche's i never used cruise control. spokane has some nice golf courses and downtown has a decent night life for a small town. *you could make some serious gas $ if you were a dentist - lots of people with missing teeth.
Make sure your windshield wipers work. And car covers are mandatory because of volcanic ash. Have fun.
