Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Was the respray part of a bigger restoration project? If so, what all did you do to the car?

The car has been well looked after mechanically, with near 20k spent on it over the last decade, but the same couldn't be said for the bodywork. So this was mainly a cosmetic restoration. It started off as a respray, with every panel bar the roof and rear bootlid/spoiler getting painted, however, once the skirts came off, it was clear the rear sills and front inner sill was rotten with rust, so the car needed some extensive welding done. Everything looks fantastic👌 I remember exchanging YT comments last year you said you ended up over budget due to the rust findings. Great to see you were still able to get the front end and side sills PPF protected. It's one of the best investments you can make with that perfect fresh paint. We expect more photos/vids come spring driving season 😁 Bradley

Cheers Bradley! Yeah, I felt there was no point spending all that money on the respray and welding and leaving it exposed to the elements, so I had to push the budget a little further to ensure the longevity of the paint as best I could. The roads are in such a state at the moment, it was a no brainer. Thanks for watching. I'll definitely be doing more content with it over the next few months. Stay tuned
