Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just finished doing the job through the center vents for the disintegrating foam. I found this cable lying around. What is it? It come from the left side of the center console, was next to the cdr22...

POST 2Original post

Maybe the grounding cable for the radio unit. The immobilizer detects whether the radio unit is installed or not (like stolen).

Where should I connect it to, then? Or neutralize it, is fine?

POST 4Original post

I would say if you are not having alarm problems (beeping on locking or lights flashing...indicating a fault) just wrap the plug in some electrical tape for insulation and leave it alone.

POST 5Original post

Left side the radio bracket I believe. Yours appears to have broken off....but should be attached to the left side of the radio.
