Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Yeah that's like 4 hrs away. https://www.porschewilmington.com/ would be a better option if they do them. I dunno.

Import Performance over towards Carolina Beach. https://www.ipwilmington.com all import shop but Specific 996 knowledge. First choice is about an hour and a half away. https://www.europeanperformance.net Good Luck

POST 7Original post

@jrjjrj: We have a Porsche tech in the Raleigh/Durham area who could travel out to the car for a full PPI. Please let us know if we can help. Thanks!

POST 8Original post

As you have figured out there are not a lot of good Porsche tech options in downeast NC. European Performance in Raleigh is a very good shop - with a lot of 996-specific experience. They buy, fix, and sell a lot of them. 2 hours from Wilmington to Raleigh. You might also reach out to Hurricane Region PCA. Centered in Raleigh, the region has a lot of members in the Wilmington area. Link in my signature.
