Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm chasing down an emissions readiness monitor issue. One problem may be the carbon canister circuit. When connected to my durametric the display indicates 0.40 (somethings) @ 2500 rpm and operating temperature. When brought back to idle, the durametric display slowly drifts down to 0 somethings (takes about 60 - 75 seconds). Questions. 1) Do you know if this is correct behavior? 2) Do you know what the durametric is reading? Vacuum? / Pressure / Other? Car is actually 996 GT3, but way more traffic on this board and I'm assuming carbon circuit is similar. Ps. ECU indicates no fault codes. Thank you Craig

POST 2Original post

Have you tried driving the car to fully warmed up then park and idle the engine for 3 minutes? Some codes (at least pending) have to be developed if there is an underlying problem... Cold start, drive at least 20min, park and idle the engine.
