Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Fabspeed CF airbox cover for 997s. I believe it will fit the 996 if you start with a 997 airbox. It moves the MAF sensor a bit, not a lot. Here's the discussion on the 997 forum. https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...cover-lid.html Here's the product. https://www.fabspeed.com/997-maxflo-...irbox-systems/

That description is all over the place and mentions 996 when it should be 997. Hope they put in more effort into the product. Also, why does it need to be carbon fiber and thus cost 1400 bucks? Personally, slapping random carbon fiber bits on older cars like ours seems out of place and serves no real purpose except for aesthetics, if that's your thing.
