**Edit *** Combined video courtesy of DTMiller! Cycled the key on and off to prevent the engine from firing up before oil pressure can be built up. ========================================== These two were shot by two different cameras. Is there a way to edit them into a a single video (time synchronized as they started at different times), maybe picture-in-picture style? I think that would be quite nice. I can provide the source files if someone is willing to help.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Sounds like victory
Sounds like it has supercharger.

...if you count the loud SAI pump as a supercharger, yes
Was their no way to shut off fuel to get oil pressure up? Or unplug injectors? I am curious why that can be pre charged oil pressure
Ahsai, do you have a Mac? Split screen is pretty easy to do in imovie, the hardest part would be synching it up. https://support.apple.com/kb/PH22930...ewlocale=en_US
I don't. I'm a PC person

I'll give it a shot, if we can figure out how to get the videos to me. Put on Box?

Thanks guys! PM sent to Woodman and DT. Just saw DT IM he's already downloading. Wow, you guys work fast!
Quotes source post: 13947528
I'm sure DT will bang it out faster than my 7 year old Mac would!
Duncan, I sent you a link to my google drive. If you want I can just post the link here. I did split screen but I can change it if you want.
Ehhh, I think my sync is off by about 1/2 second. Redoing it now.
I just watched it and it looks great! I did notice the split second difference. Thanks and I'll wait for your second one before I upload it to youtube.

Just PM'd a link to the new one.
Thanks, man! Looks awesome! Added to the 1st post.
Glad to help!
Congratulations Interesting to see the alternator sprag clutch in action.
Whats your break in procedure??
Quotes source post: 13947798
Thanks! Yup, saw that sprag clutch. You can also see how the tach needle rises up a bit whwn cranking signaling the crank position sensor is working.

PM sent. Basically lots of bursts of WOT acceleration and high rev engine braking. Cool down and repeat. The idea is to load up the piston rings against the cylinder walls to break them in before the cylinder wall roughness for this purpose is gone. It goes without saying the engine needs to be fully warmed up first for each drive.

So is the first 500 miles keeping the rev's below 3 or 4 k and being very slow with the engine a myth? My dad got a GS Corvette and has about 2k miles on it now (since Summer) and he still hasn't gone above 4k rpm's
Congrats! What a great feeling!
Nice achievement Ahsai!
Great to see this fire up. Looking forward to that moment with mine!!
Awesome x 996!!! Congratulations.
