Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 2Original post

That was very sad to see. I was wondering how much it was going to go for. Surprised that a wrecked car could sell for almost half a million dollars.

POST 3Original post

That Lambo collection though! https://www.mecum.com/auctions/monte...ni-collection/

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It sold $425K and it was driven with the wheel dolly on.

POST 5Original post

Another 300k will make that as good as new! Especially with the suspicious knocking noise from the back, but maybe that's normal? Never heard one in person. Closest I've ever been to one was the plastic model kit the oldest kid and I put together in the early 90's. ...or that might just buff out...

POST 6Original post

I love how they photgraphed the car as if nothing was wrong with it. Coming to copart soon...

POST 7Original post

Crazy cars! There are two of them I see around me fairly often in the summer time - 1 Silver, and 1 Sky/Silver(y) Blue...I suppose if I were going to spend that kind of $ on a "wrecked" car, I'd probably ship to Porsche for the "certified and documented" repair. $300k ? Maybe... I'd be interested to see actual cost, and then total value after repair...

POST 9Original post

I was so curious about how it got damaged! Glad it was included on the ad and from what I read someone wrote it satirically: "While the car was being transported in a single car enclosed trailer, the trailer detached from the truck while driving on the interstate, at which time it exited the interstate and was stopped by a tree" Hahaha that made me laugh - the way it was written not the event itself! Which is quite sad...

POST 10Original post

Then there was this previously wrecked Porsche 911 that had been repaired. I think someone got a pretty good deal. https://www.mecum.com/lots/CA0818-33...che-911-targa/
