Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

As a NYS resident Irequiring a front license plate Iused a tow hook plate mount. The car has been moved to a state that does not require a front plate but I cannot find the original Artic Silver tow cover/plug for my Artic Silver 2002 911. Any help or recommendations in replacing this are greatly appreciated.

Gave a call to: https://www.paintedoemparts.com/partinquiry OEM cap custom painted $107. I'll post the final proiduct! Thanks for the recommendations.

POST 11Original post

Buy the primed one from Porsche Atlanta and take it to your local body shop to be painted. It can't amount to $280! Or take your car and the primed plug to the body shop and have them spray the whole front bumper and have them clean out the radiators while the bumper is off.

POST 12Original post

I 3d printed a small plug and popped in with a tiny bit of silicone sealant to make sure it doesnt pop out. A quick spray with some semi well matched paint and its good enough.

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I ended up ordering from Painted OEM parts(in this thread). Thank you! It fits and matches perfectly!

POST 14Original post

https://www.ebay.com $19.24 from China. I lost several taking it off for GoPro mounting at autocross and canyon drives so I bought a few, gloss painted them black and they look fine
