Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My 2003 C4S manual says the winter setup is: 8J x 18 50mm offset with 225/40-18 10J x 18 47mm offset winter rear with 265/35-18 The tires you are looking at might be OK in diameter although they are not exactly Porsche spec. The offset seems too far off to me. I have 235/35-18 front winter tires and they do not rub but are close to the strut mount. I think the higher offset in the front means they will be more inboard and this seems like a potential problem. Before you go ahead, you might want to look at your manual to see if it says the same as mine. After that you could call or email Damon ([email removed]) at Tire Rack to get his opinion.
Thanks for the reply Schnauser! Yup, it's the offset I'm worrying about. Sent an e-mail to Damon now, hope he can help out.
