Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I’ll bite as I just finished install a set of Recaro Sportster CS seats in my 911. What is the preferred method for getting the seat to slide all the way back? Right now the adjustment **** gets stuck on a bit of the frame(?) and carpet just in front of the lower seat belt mounting point. I took off the rubber adjustment **** but the spline still sticks out too far to move the seat further back and I can’t push it in any further, it can pull out a little bit so there is some play. I ordered the slimline **** from Cantrell Motorsport’s but the adjustment spline is still going to be too long. I’m 6’1” so being able to move the seat further back is necessary with my long legs :/ sorry if the pictures are hard to make out, it was dark outside.
RECARO has both a slimmer hand wheel and cap for recline.

Right, but does that resolve the adjustment shift being too long and colliding into the carpet as pictured? Its not really the size of the adjustment wheel but that silver adjustment shaft being too long, I think.

RECARO hand wheel = silver adjustment shaft

Got it, that naming wasn't clear to me originally. Is this a piece that I need to contact Recaro for or by chance do you have a part number for the shorter hand wheel shaft?
