Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Hi Team 996, I'm so close in removing the door lock mechanism (window didn't stay dropped when the door was open) There's one 'bar' that connects the key lock to the door lock mechanism and I cannot workout how to disconnect. Any advice?

POST 2Original post

Based on some videos I've seen, you either need to fully unbolt the door lock mechanism, or go ahead and take the door handle out. I am about to do the same thing as you as my door window doesnt stay dropped either....I plan on following this youtube. You Tube

POST 3Original post

I did this years ago but I don't remember. Here are the DIYs I used. http://rennlist.com/forums/996-forum...witches-3.html https://www.renntech.org/topic/25464...w+microswitch#

You need to remove the two 10mm nuts holding on the door handle and then remove the metal frame to allow the actuator to come out
