Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Fairly sure its a wear indicator wire, Ill get it on a loft tomorrow and see if I can figure out where it goes. For now itll dangle
Yes, that's the brake wear sensor. You can pull them both out and zip tie them to the brake line - or at least zip-tie the loose one to the wire that goes to the sensor for the other pad on that caliper until you can get the wheel off.
Thanks!!
You bet. Have fun on "date night!"
