Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Are you sure its not byproduct from the catalytic conversion process of exhaust gas? Or are you leaking coolant out of the exhaust?
Blowing water or is the AOS shot and it's oil smoke?
First post EVER "need motor water out exhaust". Kinda makes me want to ask what oil are you using? That and Jake will add this to his "I have a fix but I cant tell you" thread.
Perhaps somebody installed an "air cooled conversion kit" -- these things take time to achieve the full effect My heart sinks every time I read one of these engine failure threads -- hope for the OP that Dan's post above is correct or that it is something minor

Depending upon what has failed, and if it has been driven far like this, you might not need a new engine. The one you have may be repairable or rebuild-able. You need to have it diagnosed by someone knowledgeable in the M96.
That's two in a week in Texas. Must be something in the water
Gulp, I am in Texas too...now I fear driving my 996.
