I'm guessing - by the foot hanging out the driver door - that it was less "I'm going rogue!" and more "oh, sh*t!" Started to jump out, nearly got nailed by the delivery truck, and then things went...poorly. Maybe it stalled and the dude accidentally pop-started it trying to shove it out of the intersection? So much fail.

Here is a breakdown. Driver was 35 years old, he borrowed the car from his relative, went for a joyride. When he hit the Renault, he panicked and hit the gas. He can't explain what/why he did it; there was no alcohol detected in his blood. Kicker- car was not insured.
