Has anyone purchased one of the inexpensive cd or download Porsche 911 manuals that are on Ebay for about $10. Are they legit? Worth having? Detailed enough to get something done? Thanks Myron

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I have one coming in the mail. I will let you know what I get. If you are impatient, for $10, just pull the trigger.
I have them. They are Porsche manuals. Only annoying thing is that the PDFs aren't indexed so you have to scroll down to each section.
Are they the same manuals as here: http://workshop-manuals.com/porsche/
They may be the same manuals, but hopefully the cd or dvd that I bought is a little more user friendly.
If youre just looking for factory service manuals dont pay for them - direct message me. People selling other peoples copyrighted work isnt cool.
I've got the Bentley 996 manual on the way from Amazon. OK it's a few bucks but reviews extremely well and I'm happy to pay a reasonable cost for a good product. https://www.renntech.org/forums/topi...6-book-review/
Hey myronf - it won't let me direct message you for some reason. Please email me direct. My email is my username @gmail.com Cheers Charlie
they are free on the intarwebs. no need to pay for them.
I got mine today and it is indexed. Actually, it is very easy to search and use. Much better than the website referenced above and I searched the interwebs and found a lot of dead links to service manuals, hence the ebay route. I say go for it if the free offer doesn't pan out. In fact, i would like to compare the two to see if there is a quality difference between the ebay copy and what is being circulated for free.
My ebay one is on order. I should have it next week. Myron
