Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Will a hatch and wing that came off of a 2003 996 Carrera 4S fit on my 1999 996 C2? You can see it at the link below http://www.kijiji.ca/v-auto-body-par...tch/1169048936

POST 2Original post

I can't tell you if it would or not, but I can tell you that if it did, you'd need the 4S style "brake light" that runs along the rear hatch. Might be a bit of a weird look for a non-4S Carrera.

POST 3Original post

I was looking at putting an aftermarket C2 hatch on my 4S and based on what I was able to find, the coupe 4S hatch will not fit a turbo or C2 coupe.

POST 4Original post

Hope that seller remembers to remove the IMS update badge from the inside.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thank you. It is a great deal if you need the hatch, but I am going to pass.

POST 6Original post

The hatch will not fit on a C2 - but! It looks to me like that wing is actually a piece that bolts on. Looks like there's a bit of a seam - that's how the wing on my C4s is attached. So, you could buy it, keep the fan and the harness, and swap the win to your current decklid.
