Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Can anyone tell me what the bearing number is on the duel row bearing? Cheers

Since you can't source a replacement IMS bearing from Porsche, I don't believe there is a Porsche part number. Is that what you're looking for, a part number?

POST 3Original post

Can't buy the part - it only comes with the purchase of the entire IMS shaft. Go with an LN unit

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes a part number off the bearing itself.

There is no part number to the bearing it comes as a package with the shaft.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

There may not be a part number but there Will be a number on the bearing itself. That's the number I'm after.

POST 8Original post

My LNE "Classic Dual Row" bearing is a 3204RS IJK Japan - LN syas this bearing is custom made for them and to their spec's, so not sure if you'll be able to source one but would be interested to know the outcome of your search!

POST 9Original post

Depending on what you're after it may be easier to identify based on the IMS cover plate, which is a different design for single vs. double row; visibly different from the outside of the engine once the trans/clutch is out of the way, and with a different part number.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
