Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Every so often, I find myself out on the highway in my '03 C4 Cab. Last evening, on my way to pick up our granddaughter after school, everything just "clicked" into position. The entrance ramps onto I-5 were empty, and traffic was just perfectly spaced such that one could drive exactly as God and Dr. Porsche intended. Seattle traffic is usually a nightmare - but yesterday, top down, sun shining, it was just perfect. And I'm talking "moderate" speeds. The type where 4th-6th gears were just right. Car humming perfectly, everything apparently working correctly. And I never even thought about my IMS. "If only" that was everyday. Then, post pick up, having to slog through bumper to bumper heading north out of Seattle on I-5 during afternoon rush. I almost wished I had an automatic transmission. Almost!

I know the feeling. My zen-like "at one with the universe" day I still remember fondly. 1980, and the universe was in alignment like that. Was leaving my girlfriend's house at about 2:00 am in my '70 Cuda....just back from a fresh repaint... my favorite tune at the time (Doors... Riders on the Storm) came on... no traffic at all.... that moment is still burned into my brain. OK, enough sappiness for now.
