I've been researching 996's since last fall. I've looked at 5 or 6 that met my requirements, 3 ppi's later I've found the one! 02 seal grey over black draped 6speed, low miles, (37k) well documented maintenance, long time owners, second owner has had it since 2013. A few tasteful mods and a couple of nice factory options. Owner is a PCA member that answered my WTB in marketplace. I fly to Orlando in the morning! Very excited! A serious thank you to all the members here, I learned A lot from your posts. Mike in Chicago

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Seriously Mike. Great starting post, then.... No link to the ad, so we cant see the vehicle No discussion of the drive home, so we cant suggest roads No explanation of the mods, so we cant comment Please try to update the thread soon!

Hmmmm, Tail of the Dragon comes to mind.

Wow, beautiful example of a 996! Great choice to drive home! In addition to the Tail of the Dragon, try to sneak through Marietta Ohio. 26 out of Marietta is my favorite road, but a little out of the way for you. 555 is a little more in line and an amazing road as well. Enjoy!
Nice, congrats on the new car.
Leather and aerokit bits - nice!
XLF 👍
Congratulations!

26 is fantastic! Do drive it, regardless of how out of way it is.
I'm just south of Atlanta, hungry and getting tired. Needless to say I didn't sleep very well last night! This car is a blast ! Cruising 85mph, nice and smooth!
Congrats! Best color combo. Hope you can fix those calipers, eventually.

Yeah, not really sure about them on this car. I'm used to it from my 05 GTO.

The font looks off, but is there something else I'm missing here?
