Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So I was just looking at my window sticker and see the option "Special Chassis Rigidly Tuned". Is this considered the ROW M030 option? What does this option actually include and is it considered a positive?

POST 2Original post

Great option. I have it on mine. It is the US M030. Better, sportier shocks and springs but no height difference from the regular suspension. It also has the ROW M030 sway bars. There is an old Porsche article that detailed the specific differences. Overall, flatter turns and less understeer.

POST 3Original post

Older thread...but my 2003 has the "special chassis rigidly tuned" option. I just removed my rear subframes to install poly subframe bushings and found that I had solid rear subframe bushings from the factory. 23K original mile car w/ documented history so highly doubtful someone changed it out. They appear to be factory solid bushings that look just like photos I have seen of GT2/GT3 subframes. Based on this I "assume" this option included solid rear subframe bushings. There are also some other reinforcement bars on the car that I have not see on other cars, so I "assume" those were part of this option package as well.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
