Hi all, I'm trying to sort the poor audio system in my Y2000 C2. It's got the upgrade with the speakers in the door. It's the cdr 220 non most.
I've done the normal upgrade of the front speakers to MB Q components but i don't feel it's made much of a difference.
I'm thinking of putting one of those all in one subs under the passanger seat, as anyone done this?
I've got the 6ch amp in the boot maybee that should be my next change, what does anyone think?
I don't want massive base just clarity when turned up a bit.

Add a set of sport cats and upgrage the muffler, open the windows and turn off the radio...when you get where you are going the smile will be bigger than the new speaker under that seat..

I've got the PSE and it sounds Great and i know what you mean, i'm always looking for tunnels. But i'm greedy i want the best of both worlds. I still have to pinch myself that i've realised a dream! now i'm changing it, i should just leave alone and enjoy.
Yeah, I've pretty much given up on upgrading the radio, I may have it on 35% of the time these days. I must say though, the radio sounds really good in my garage when I back in with the top down.
everytime I think of changing anything other than making the car faster, corner better, brake better or maintenence to keep it running as best as i can... I stop and ask myself why...then I dont do it and end up happy... its my way of finding the right mix... GL
