Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 5Original post

Im looking for both the OEM MKI front bumper and MKI side skirts. But to be extra zany Im trying to find them both already in Glacier White! One of the major porsche dismantlers had them in my color, and wanted 800 for the skirts!

Russ - first you were looking for the rear bumper side vents and now a rear bumper. What happened to your bumper?

POST 7Original post

I think the side vents thread came after the bumper thread. Im thinking he found a bumper but it is missing a side vent????

POST 8Original post

Russ - it was nice toaling with you earlier today. I checked the 996 Turbo PET and it shows the same grills (exact same part numbers) for the rear bumber as I posted for the C4S i the other thread.

Ok. I might not know what I'm talking about. I thought that a Turbo rear bumper has the slotted vents in the side of the bumper, but it is open to let air in to the intercoolers. I also thought that the C4S models have the same exact rear bumper, but behind those vented slots there is a black louvered panel that goes in there being that the C4s does not have intercoolers to need the air. That is the piece I'm looking for, the louvered panel like in the C4S models. I'm I incorrect in how those to rear bumpers differ from one another and I'm I confused about this part? I've attached a picture to show you the part I'm looking for. If you know, please explain to me where to get it. Thanks, Russ

POST 10Original post

Russ - I have looked at pics on teh 996 Turbo Forum and I haven's seen anything that looks like those interior grills on newport's car. Here is a pic showing the air ducts on a TT, but no inner grill

Yeah, I'm pretty sure if you find a rear close up the C4S it will have these panels. Let me know if you find anything out.\ Thanks, Russ

POST 12Original post

I've got a 2003 C4S and yes, it has the gills on the rear with a black plastic panel behind them. The panel itself is slotted and it's a bitch to keep clean.

Does anyone know for sure what the part number to the panels are? If so let me know. I need them to go in a turbo bumper I'm buying. Russ

POST 14Original post

Russ Hey man. I asked a guy on 6spd B4 about this because this is my next project. He got a OEM TT bumper and got the C4S grill inlets from Sunset Porsche he said they have the best prices for OE parts. I remember him saying he didnt like the TT ones so he got the C4S ones. Let me know how you make out. Justin

Thank you for your reply. I will call them to see what the part # is. It has been easy thing to find. Russ

POST 16Original post

Russ, thats my black 996 in the pic...its a TT bumper....they are the SAME. The inserts are optional....I had C4S inserts put in....if that helps....

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah I know that's your car. It's the sweet'est. Where do you find the C4S inserts? That's what I'm looking for. I found a rear turbo bumper to cut down, but I need those inserts to place. Thanks, Russ

POST 18Original post

Russ - when you find the part numbers for the inserts, please post them here. I am curious to see if they are different from the part numbers listed in the PET diagram I posted for you in the other thread.

POST 19 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Will do! I do belive that it is the correct part number for the C4S inserts. I searched that part numbe on google and found one dealer that said different insert than shown in the PET for that part number. Because I'm not 100% I'll wait till it's sure. Russ
