Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This is a friends car and I don't have a list of the options yet. It had an msrp of 105K so must have come with alot of bling. The car is speed yellow/black, 6spd, 37K miles and has hard top. The car is bone stock and is extremely clean. I thought 45-50K would be the sweet spot if he didn't want to sit on ot too long.

POST 2Original post

Great....post some pix....and if it's an '01...it's not a C4S...didn't start until '02 for the 996. Not too sure on your price till we know condition and options. J

POST 3Original post

no such thing as an 2001 C4S. 2002 was the first year for the 996 C4S and C4S cabs only started in 2004. Maybe you mean a C4?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It has to be a C4 then, this was just talked about tonight on the phone that he had this pcar he wanted to sell. He did say 01,awd, and that it came with hard top. sorry guys for lack of info.

POST 5Original post

No problem....cars sounds more reasonable at 35 or 36K. J

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ya, 35-40K depending on these options that bring the car to 105K msrp....Whow! that seems high for a C4. I'll post the options when he gets to me and I'll take a look at the car and see what I can tell. Thanks again guys.

POST 8Original post

I'd sure like to see that original window sticker. 105K for a C4 cab can be done easily but that is ALOT of extra bling, etc. The retail on those suckers way back was low 80's so 20K isn't hard to do in these cars.
