Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My name is John Lo and I live in Hong Kong. I own a 2000 manual C4 and beforehand I had a 993 tip. I am about 40 years old and I worked as an accountant. To be honest, I like the look of 993 much better but the prices of 993 are going unreasonable, especially for 993 turbo. It is nice to join the party.

POST 2Original post

John - Welcome to Rennlist and the 996 Phunny Pharm. Nice intro and thanks for the pic. Your yellow C4 is nice looking!

POST 3Original post

John Lo, welcome my main man! That 993 is very nice, but lets see some more pics of that 996. After all this is the 996 forum. Congrats on your P car. It has a nice a$$!

POST 4Original post

welcome! ...but saying, "I'm here because I bought a 996 even though I prefer the 993" is not a good way to start off.

POST 5Original post

Agreed, but welcome to the best 996 forum out there. After you've had your car for awhile, give us your driving impressions against the 993.

POST 6Original post

What in the Blue Hell.... on, wait.... that's Dell's line! OK, let me start over again! What do you mean getting soft???? He introduced himself and he posted a !@#$%^&* pic! What more do you want????? Is THAT ^ better?

POST 8Original post

Well, a pic of a 996 instead of a 993 might be good... what the hell is it with these 993 guys that keep trying to find backdoor ways into a better, newer shinier forum than the 993 forum?!?!
