Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 3Original post

You need to get the fault codes from the car when the light comes on. This needs an OBD II reader, which plugs into the car near the fuse box and gives you fault codes to help in the diagnosis. If you are in the US - you can get a loaner OBD II reader at Auto Zone for free Or buy one from somewhere like Harbor Freight. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=94217 Or go to an independent mech and pay for the codes to be read for you. May be just an annoying issue that you can fix at your leisure - the codes will give us the clues we need to help you.
