I will save all the details for the lawyer but I am looking for a traffic lawyer in the Park City area in Utah...anyone know of anyone that lives in the area or that knows a lawyer in Utah? I recently participated in the Tire Rack One Lap of America and during travel from Miller Motorpark (Utah) to another racetrack, I got pulled over and given a ticket for traveling 148mph on a 70mph zone. Just so it is VERY clear: 1. I was NOT traveling anywhere near that speed 2. There were 90+ cars with similar stickers traveling the same direction in a one hour time's frame 3. My guess is the "probably" clocked someone going that speed and then turned around and caught up to the first "stickered" car he saw. 4. Regardless, I got the citation and now I have to appear in court in less than 10 days. Cliffnotes: 1. I believe if he had "proof" that I was going that fast, he would have taken me downtown right then and there 2. He claimed he clocked me at those speeds 16 miles before, and that it took hime that long to catch me...however, 5 miles prior I was at a gas station getting muchies, taking a leak and filling up with gas 3. I am going to try to get the lawyer tu subpeona the inside camara of the police car as that could show the vehicle traveling at those speeds, if the vehicle exists, was a different one Blah blah...if anyone knows of anyone in the Utah area that could assist, please let me know...thanks!!
