I just purchased a 2003 Carrera 4S with the sport exhaust. Does the sport exhaust add any horsepower or is it simply a better sound. Also, are there any fairly inexpensive bolt on mods that can be done to improve performance. Thanks for the advice.

No power. I think the trade of $ vs. (sound/enhanced driving experience) is a personal preference. I would not have a p-car without some sort of sport exhaust. PSE was stock on my car and I think it's fabulous.
The sound is terrific! If I did not have it I would go aftermarket. I hate seeing and nice 911 drive by and it sounds like a lexus. The quiet button is nice to have when on the phone or not trying to attract as much attention. Steve
