Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am looking at a 2004 911 C4S, and was wondering what major problems should i look for if any with that type of model year. Or if anybody can direct me to a good Porsche forum. Thanks, John

POST 2Original post

They are pretty much trouble free. Check if its had any of the recall (campains) done. There are always a few things that come up that can be done if the customer encounters a problem. I recall a mod to the security alarm recieving antenna and a vibrating wire in the headliner.

Beware of high mileage '04's - especially if the odo reads above 2K.

Do not know of any issues that i know of. If you buy from dealer you can get a CPO warranty extenion beyond the factory warranty.
