Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guys I have done a few track days and skill days in my current car, BMW, and really enjoyed the experience. However, a defining moment came to me recently during a Porsche club skills day. My car just did not perform at the level of the Porsches. I have driven both the 993 and 996 and found that I really like the 996 and by going with an earlier version of this model, I should be able to fit one in my budget. Plus the car has to be a daily driver as well as fit into my track desires so the 996 seems super live-able from a daily and weekend perspective. So of course, some beginning Porsche enthusiast questions. I saw what appears to a nice 996 on Autotrader, but since this is my first post I am locked out of posting the link. It is a 2000 C2 with 33K miles for $33.9K - Blue with Grey leather. Do any of you recognize this car? What do you think about it? Do any of you know of a good place to get a PPI in north Salt Lake City? I was considering a C4 since I live in the Seattle area, but can not seem to locate a car with low miles priced in the low $30's.

POST 2Original post

Greg, I could not locate the car on Autotrader, but the price sounds about right for a 2000. I'm sure someone will chime in about an SLC PPI location soon. Good luck!!
