I posted this in the DE section as well - but thought my 996 clan would get a kick out of this! My buddy just upgraded the suspension in his 87 911. Here are some links to pics taken at the last DE (April 07). Note in these pictures the front passenger tire off the ground - WITH a passenger. (1) About 3 inches off (2) Another Wheelie Note in this picture BOTH passenger tires off the ground - WITH A PASSENGER. (3) That front tire looks about 6 inches off... SWEET. I've seen plenty of one-wheel "ups" but never a "two-wheel up" -td

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Honest question: Is that something to be proud of...or is the car's balance/suspension questionable? On level ground, I would assume that all 4 wheels solid on the ground would be more desireable?
Fast track, off camber turn, with elevation change. This pic shows that the suspension wants to keep the frame "flat" Definitely not the most contact with the ground - but the suspension is highly adjustable. I just thought it was neat to see how body roll can be transformed into tire lift -td
You call that tire lift? THIS is tire lift Of course, this was a little bit more than a DE event, but still impressive when they did it lap after lap
Of course you can always get someone to 'assist' you in getting that front tire off the track....... By ramming into you at speed!
that's funny.....
