Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

25 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Here is a sound clip of my new GHL exhaust http://homepage.mac.com/jrlphoto

POST 2Original post

Can you make one at cruising HWY speed at around 2500 rpms?

POST 6Original post

nice! are there any other accompanying mods to that exhaust system? IE: exhaust manifold?

POST 7Original post

I've got one(them) on my Targa and it sounds amazing. Under hard acceleration it sounds more like a race car but under light loads it isn't the least bit obtrusive. It makes you want to drive with the windows down...

POST 8Original post

Sounds great, I was considering PSE and Fabspeed, guess I'll have to add this one to the list.

POST 9Original post

Are those the regulars or the loud version? Maybe it's just the video but those sound like they make a bit more noise than my GHL's which are regulars. Andy

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

These are the regulars. In fact, I was told by Brian at GHL that they only made one version for the 3.4 and that the option for loud vs. regular was for the 3.6. He did say that the louds would fit but that they weren't designed for it.

POST 12Original post

What did they cost if you don't mind me asking?

POST 16 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The noise is only slightly louder than my stock system when cruising on the highway. No droning or resonance. I avoided Fabspeed because I was afraid it would be too loud all the time. I will post a clip from inside the car going through the gears and cruising soon.

POST 18 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I bought it directly from GHL

POST 21Original post

That's funny, they told me the regular vs. loud was only for the 3.4 and not the 3.6 when I got mine. Oh well, love mine too. Eben, shoot me an email if you want to hear it live.

POST 22Original post

Thanks for the calls. I will honor this price for Rennlist folks thru the end of January 2007. Please let us know the Rennlist special price when you call....[phone removed]. Brian@GHL

POST 23Original post

I just ordered a set of GHLs from Jeff @ GHL. He honored the $850 OTD price and was a pleasure to deal with. I have a 2000 C2 (3.4) and they are building the LOUD model for me... I'll post a sound clip when I get them installed.

POST 25Original post

I picked up a set of GHL's for my Dad's 02 tip from the guys at GHL and I can confirm they really sound great. No droning, and totally unobtrusive at lower rpm's. I'd love to put some on my own car in the near future, but since I just dropped a new tranmission in my car my wife has not so subtly indicated that any voluntary mods should be on the back burner for a while.
