Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Ross, here's mine with a factory "Alumalook" center console.
nice looking lvdell... that's our wife's car right?
thanks smile. it is my wife's car. ps. I assume you mean YOUR not OUR. btw, wtf was with your post in the other thread about the RMS???
i just stated that if the car is going to blow or if you're going to have any problems with the car, it's good while it's CPO...... better when under warr. then not.....that's all....
yeah, but come on, taking care of the care while it is IN warranty is going to lead to GREAT life and minimal service AFTER the warranty ends. If you go through the warranty period treating it like a punching bag, then you can't possibly feel safe owning it after warranty, now could you?
i agree....... but somtimes i feel that the car needs to be abuse a little here and there.... i don't mean to go out and try to blow the car up or destroy it....but use it, enjoy it, savor it.......that's all.... don't get me wrong, i've owned about 15 cars in my lifetime, all sports, no automatics and im 33 years old right now.... i was my car once a week, wax it once a month, and i baby the hell out of it... but when i drive it, i really drive it for what it's made of......
Ah, now I see what you are saying. Totally agree. The car needs to be "DRIVEN" every so often. When I hit the track for a DE weekend I spend the ENTIRE weekend between 6-8K rpms and the car just sings!
My thought is keep it during warranty, drive up the miles, and then trade in for the next 911 when the warranty is over!
I just happen to be one of those people that finds it hard to get rid of something so cherished (like my cars). For crying out loud, my 1981 280ZX is one that has been in my family since the summer of '81 and my Dad passed it along to me. I can't see myself ever letting that car (or either of my 911's) go, ever. Now the Cayenne? That is a disposable car IMHO. I will defintely trade that sucker in next year, maybe even this year if the new Cayenne impresses me.
