Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Sorry, when I saw the title of sub in trunk I thought you were talking about flood damaged cars... got me all excited for nothing.
Quick post a picture and tell us a little about your car!! If you don't Tim or Dell will drop in any minute and berate you for asking a question prior to an intro.
When i first bought my 88 911 it had the original stereo in it so i took it in to a local audio shop and asked them to put a decent system in the car. well i ended up getting 200 watts ( which is probably 150 more than i needed ) and a bazooka base mounted in the trunk. More base than i will ever need to listen to sinatra, martin, sammy, and rush....But when my 21 year old son sticks a p-diddy cd in.... the whole car shakes...
Oh man Ray, that was COLD......... but true! Guilty as charged!
I did a similar install to "Good Hands" in my 73 911. Installed a Blaupunkt head unit and in the trunk put a Bazooka tube with an 8" Fosgate sub, 10 disc CD changer and a 400amp Fosgate amp. Way more base than I'd ever need, but very effective.
