After several years I am again looking for a used Porsche. I have one I am interested in and was interested in getting some input on pricing. It is a private owner sale, no warranty. 1999 C2 cab 32,000 mi 1 owner, all records Options: CD, HiFi, power seat pkg. lumbar support, wind stop Ocean Blue no rips in top or seats 1 small scratch on bumper 6 spd tires 75% tread I will get a PPI before moving ahead. It will need 30k service so I figure $750-$1k for that. Asking price is $38,750 or best offer. KBB gives a price at $38,750, Edmunds prices it at $35,736. What do you feel a good / fair price is for this car? Thanks.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

i paid $39k last summer for a '00 C2 Cab with 47k miles here in NYC. Bought it same day i saw it (had mechanic look at it and put on lift). Sounds like yours is in good shape. Maybe u can get a little cheaper if something shows up in PPI like RMS leak. If you really like the car and wanna start driving, its worth it. If u wanna keep lurking for who knows how long to save a couple $, thats your choice.
If it's the exact car you are looking for, that's not a bad price. I've seen them go for less though. I wouldn't call it a great deal...
They have gone for 4-5 k less than that out here in the Northeast. But if you know the owner and trust the cars been cared for, it's worth at least 36-37. Still a whole lot of car for the money IMO
