My son lurks here all the time and knows that I wanted a 911 forever. I have owned some very fun cars, 3 different models of corvettes, turbo eclipse, spitfire mk 5, opel gt and a few others, but never a 911 until today. Well I've put a deposit and will take the money next Saturday. I know the 996 gets beat up all the time but I like them and it fits the budget I set for myself. It's had the IMS and RMS done and the owner had a blackstone oil analysis done. Oh it's a 99 coupe m6. I'll post some pics when I get it.

Congrats! Good time of year to buy as the season starts to wind down. Sounds like a private party sale (preferable, IMHO) What was done to the IMS - pinned or welded?
