Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi All, Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I was pretty active a few years ago, then sold the 911sc and kind of dropped out for a while. The actual story is that I bought a Ferrari and the wife would not let me keep both, so the 911 got sold. Fortunately I could not rid myself of the pcar bug and recently bought an 02 996. I can not beleive I went without one for this long. The car is speed yellow with matching console, bose system, full leather interior, color match seat belts and I beleive some other options, but I am waiting on the certificate from Porsche to determine the exact ones. The car only had 9,500 miles an is in MINT shape. Not even a stone chip. Picked it up for a good (I think) price of 47k I have attached a couple of pics for those that are interested. looking forward to talking to you all! Welcome back! Nice P-car! First order of business, clear side markers.

POST 4Original post

Nah! In this case the pumpkins match the yellow.

POST 5Original post

Your car's great looking. I love SY/black - yeah, clear side markers would be nice. I also really love the Carrera classic wheels - they work well on your car. Welcome and enjoy!!

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a set of clear on order, unfortunately they were on back order, should be here soon. I am not sure how they will look either, funny that I got both opinions. Oh, well, if not, they are not too expensive and it is an easy switch!

POST 7Original post

Welcome back, the color to die for, I am jealous!

Snap a shot of the sticker under the hood. It has all the option codes that we can help decode. Awesome car!

POST 11Original post

Glad you decided to join us! Very nice car - it'll make you smile everyday no matter what the color . -td

Mirage, Still have the Ferrari, thus the wife is still here too! hehehe

POST 14Original post

Gorgeous car!! I know what I'm about to say cost alot but to me, nothing is sexier than a SY 996 with full aero kit II. Do a search for sandoval's old car.

POST 15Original post

Congrats on the Beautiful car, FAB911sc! I agree that is a good deal, $47k for a 02 with 9.5k miles

POST 16Original post

Nice car and great price. I looked at that car (online) over the summer before I bought mine. I think they were asking $52k at the time. Great price getting it for $47k

POST 17Original post
