Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

A lot of people have been asking me for sound clips of Tubi on a 996. Well here they are! This is with with the stock intake and not the evo so you get the pure exhaust note... I will be putting the evo intake back on soon and if someone wants me to, will take sound clips of that combo... 996 Tubi Exhaust -Keith

POST 2Original post

Well are you happy with the sound and performance?

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Very happy with the sound. I cant comment on performance because this is the only Carrera that i have driven, and i bought it with the exhaust on it... -Keith

POST 6Original post

Hi, I have a C4S coming around next week. I am very interested in Tubis.. Can you tell me how much this costs? and what about installation? can i just install it any place, or do i have to bring it to a porsche dealership, and how much do you guys think it'll cost? Thanks.

POST 7Original post

any other Fabspeed owners out there think that this Tubi exhaust sounds similar to the Fabspeed Maxflo muffler? I have the Maxflo & think it sounds similar, maybe not as loud & maybe just a little higher pitched? But definately not gurgley & raspy like PSE or GHL right?

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I dont know how much it costs, as it was on the car when i bought it, but you can do the installation yourself IMO... However, if you dont want to do it yourself, you can take it to any mechanic, it doesnt have to be the dealer. It is a very easy and straight forward install...

POST 9Original post

I just install the Fabspeed muffler by-pass pipes. It wasn't too difficult removing the old system and it took less than 15 min. to install the new. This setup is quite loud when you hammer it but when your cruising it has a nice mello tone and no reasonance. At 75-80 on the highway there's hardly any exhaust sound. And it's much less expensive than the modified muffler systems. So, I'm quite pleased. Roger B.

POST 10Original post

That was my first thought and I've only driven 1 Pcar with a Fabspeed Exhaust, which by the way wasn't mine.
