Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I got some nice Porsche free goodies too!
I like it, but it does look like a Honda S2000 in the front end shot!
In person it sure doesnt. 0-60 in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 194. Sorry Honda fans but your not in the same league. My 996 looked good amongst the new cars. I dont have the yellow flashers so in my opinion that right there makes a big difference. It was well received as were the mods I have done myself.
This is used, and PDK, but this 2017 4s looked amazing. Some crazy 924. It was pretty cool. This was in the hangar where we landed. Very cool.

What's the silver cabriolet car in the background? Now that looks cutting edge amazing! Wonder if the headlights are round?
Great pix, thanks for sharing. A good friend of mind is picking up is Miami blue 992 on Friday and I plan to tag along. I look forward to spending some time with the car to see how much of a departure it is from the outgoing 991, should be fun!
Call me picky, but I'm not a fan of the creases in the bonnet. New interior sure is nice though!
Depends on the color so far for me. The 991 was an absolute stunner IMO, probably my favorite looking water cooled 911. Interior won't age well as older models with all the screens and black panel 'buttons' but that's not a knock as for a car in that price point, you expect good tech, something Porsche has always lagged behind in.
I have great 360 videos I made I wish I could upload them. These cars in person are so nice. One huge problem. They are $150,000.00. Way out of my league but still nice to see. As I said most of all I enjoyed the compliments I received on my car. What I have done to it myself. I do it to please myself but to hear other enthusiast compliment me on what I have done makes me proud and motivated me. I have a turbo nose but I dont think I am going to put it on. I had it painted and everything but I think I am just going to sell it. I want something a little more suttle.
Sure is a beauty and even has a cup holder (lol). Great pics and glad to hear the compliments you received. It gives me a great smile to drive mine, but when sitting at a light and someone gives you a "nod of approval" or a "thumbs up", well, that's just icing on prized toy.
I don't like the headlights or taillight design; otherwise it looks pretty nice
I am probably in the minority but I am not crazy about newer Porsches or a lot of more recent cars. Don't get me wrong, the performance is there they just seem so big, busy. Maybe its because I've had a bunch of cars from the late 90s and early 2000s that just seem smaller and simpler.
They've gotten bigger and fatter and more of a GT Tourer than sports car. Yes, they are fast and solidly built but they are just too big and heavy for me. Absolutely beautiful though, I must say.
That 991 C4S is beautiful. Know what that color is called? I'm liking the 991 more than the 992. Really not liking how the hood, bumper, and fenders come together.

I'd like to know too. That looks amazing upon further gazing on the car... The wheels almost look white in that picture, great contrast. <3
From those pictures a 996 has a better looking interior and headlights, maybe a better looking body, and absolutely hate digital instruments and multi-page screens with useless and distracting information. $25-50k and zero depreciation for a well-sorted 996 sounds like a much better path to follow.

I feel the same. My 996 is so simple but yet still a great driving experience. I dont want/need half the new features the newer cars have. I watched the review of the 992 by Doug DeMuro and pretty much decided that even if I could afford one, Im not sure I would want one.

what was most eye opening about his video was the pricing... I mean, I get it's a brand new C2S, but come on. No way is that thing worth double a nice 991.1 C2S IMO. Crazy stuff!

Thats the ticket right there. Pretty impressive for a base-ish model car with this level of build quality.

This is always the same problem. Its a Porsche. Its supposed to be kinda silly money. It was almost as expensive back in 1999 when our cars were new. My 1988 Carrera Targa was around $45k in 1988. In 1980, a 911 base price was $25k, compared with $7k for an average car.
Interestingly though 25k in 1980 is only 75k today which seems like a steal, 45k in 1988 is 95k. A 2000 was 80k which is 120k today. So I guess the base price for the new 911 isn't that bad but 150k for an upgraded base model seems like a lot, although it certainly seems like quite the performer.
