Rennlist Funhouse - no wives allowed ;-). Spoke with Andrew the president and here's the downlow...lots starting at $680k and homes at half a mil (pre-approved plans from 3 developers). Get this, I call him and he's cruisin' around Beverly Hills...assumed he'd be in his office in Breckenridge. Anyways, he'll be sending me an info packet with pricesheets and details within a day or so. Stay tuned....... Sales pitch in Beverly Hills...market's definitely there...movie stars, Lakers, musicians and so on... p.s. How do I move this thread to Off-Topic or General?!? Thanks!!

big lots though... lots start at $675k usd and 3 acres is the smallest plot. half acre hangar/paddock site are available for $100k usd. interesting concept, why would they put it there though? theres gotta be some space in the boonies of socal somewhere where they could keep the pricing similar.

$1800 / month association fees... no thanks The highest association fee I ever paid a month were $560 when I lived in South beach, FL. But that was with 5 star accomodations in a high rise, valet parking... the whole 9 yard.

As a commercial property owner/developer I can think of a million reasons not to do this type of project. It's been done before and has never really worked. Airparks have had some limited success in rural areas. Motorsport is inherently dangerous and there would be accidents of all kinds. No liability waiver can protect you from failing to forsee bad accidents (which are very forseeable here). I could blather on for days about attractive nuisance, etc. but in a nutshell, it won't work.
