Has anyone had magnaflow or any other universal cats installed. I know a good muffler shop could make this work. Not sure if the car would like it. Also anyone have the bosal cats installed. Looking for alternative options to the usual fab speed/ top gear etc.
Google the topic, it was discussed here last year. MF made a direct replacement but I don't remember if it was 3.6 or 3.4.
I am in CA and opted for MF cats for my 02 (cheaper, correct fit, CARB approved). Happy to say that car has been through two smog checks already and the cats easily passed both visual & sniff tests.
Both Fabspeed and Cargraphic use HJS cats - they were expensive last time I priced them though
