I was at harbor freight tonight picking up some drill bits. I wondered over to the lift section and spotted the lift in the image. It made me think does anyone make a lift that will lift two tires at a time. Our cars are pretty light I even if one of these could be modified. Of course I am not to much interested in risky lift methods. Is there something out there? Btw this is not about the full car lift we all pretty much know about.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Yes.

The 996 is so rigid, if you lift the rear tire, the front will also come off the ground for tire swaps.

He wants both rears or fronts up at the same time. A good long low profile jack will work.

I'm lazy and haven't looked, yet. Where is a safe place to put jack to lift both in the front?
When I jack up the front from the jack point just behind the front fender, it lifts the other front as well. It raises them enough to get jackstands underneath. Not at the maximum jackstand height, but enough to do suspension work.
