Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Found this for the Boxster some time ago, but of course it applies equally well to the 996, as I found out last weekend. Instead of having stuff kicking about loose in the trunk, especially things like bottles of Mobil1, flares, medical kit etc, you can buy a Rubbermaid plastic storage box, with snap on lid, that provides ideal, safe, spill proof storage. It's a neat fit in the trunk, with just enough space for a pair of shoes or a laptop case down one side, and a jacket on top of the closed lid. It's called the Roughneck Storage Box - 18 gal You can find the correct model HERE We even use it instead of a suitcase now for road trips - it's way more efficient to pack clothes, etc into the Rubbermaid - much less wasted space in the car, much larger storage capacity. Even more important with the 996 only having the one trunk! You can get one from LOWES for only $5.97! Bargain Chris.

Wouldn't that just add more weight to the car? Good find, it'll come in handy for long trips.

POST 3Original post

Great idea for hauling ice for parties or plants and junk from Home Depot.
