Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've just started noticing a pool of coolant tonight. I can't see where it's coming from, but it's dripping down onto the top of the left exhaust tip. I've been able to pull out the overflow pipe from the coolant bottle and it's dry. Any ideas or hints on how where to start to track this down? Hopefully it's just a hose, but there ain't a whole lot of room to get in there and check! Keith

POST 2Original post

Likely either coolant tank cap or a cracked coolant tank - both are very common.

POST 3Original post

You need to head over to my place I have mine out now. It's a tricky DIY project but very easy just a tight spot.I had the same small drip puddles under my car. I found my coolant tank to be crack free, but the sensor had a crack in it. I should have the part from Sunset tomorrow. I am replacing everything, from memory the prices are... $180 for the tank $14 for the sensor $20 for the cap. Sunset prices.
