Whats up Rennlisters, I own a 02 Targa with rear wiper, which I want to delete. Did someone already do it? The only option I found was a complete replacement of the whole rear window.. Thanks for your help! 🙏🏻

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I think on a 944 they had a plug that covered the hole if not mistaken. Might ask there if someone knows. If you were local I might think about trading you as there are times I wish I had a rear wiper.

The thing is that the Targa has a different rear wiper construction compared to all other 996. I would really appreciate if someone already did a delete on a targa. 🙏🏻
