Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Is this the best SSK for a 996. I would like to know before I go ahead and import it. I am told its an OEM P-Tek part suitable for a GT3_RS.

POST 2Original post

That is the 996/986 Porsche factory short shift. Same as a B&M except that version is already mounted in the shift tower.

POST 3Original post

that and the bracket is annodized black instead of blue...

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks guys. Is it worth paying $600 US dollars to get this version over the B&M.

POST 5Original post

^ not a chance since they're both essentially the same thing but different color. PM Me for info.

POST 6Original post

OEM Short SHift Kit is available for far less than $600. Just spent under $300 for mine(OEM),

POST 8Original post

Get the BM you can find them for a very good price, The oem one is nice because its says Porsche but I wouldnt pay more for that.

POST 9Original post
