Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

3.6l
Thanks. So the 3.8 was first introduced as an '05 model year engine?
No 3.8 L engines in any 996 P-cars. 3.8 L engine is in the 997 S, 997 (non-S) has 3.6 L engine.
Didn't the 996 have a 3.4 engine until 02?
Yes the naturally aspirated models all did.
