Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 2Original post

Congratulations on your purchase of a great looking 911. I've always been a fan of the gray color family on a Porsche. Nice stable mate as well. Enjoy both in good health.

POST 3Original post

What a 911 you found.. . Incredible find. Welcome to our C4S cult....I mean "club". Remember to put stabile in the Vetts gas tank to avoid any issues cause it's gonna sit a lot now.

Ten thousand miles...wow. Hidden away in a climate controlled cocoon was it? No need for motor mounts or a rad clean A point was raised that the composite blades of the water pump can brittle from 13 years of immersion in coolant. Perhaps a Solution instead of a bearing replacement for years of motoring pleasure. Another twin here in the classic livery

POST 15Original post

Do you have to be worried about errant golf ***** flying into the driveway?

POST 16 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

First, never had a golf ball in driveway, but in yard yes. So with the vette, its a beast. Quick, loud and muscular. Its very refined though as a muscle car. Lots of techno too. Its not a track set up so the ride is just the right mix of sport and compliant. I would term it as my long distance cruiser. Its a solid no worries car and cheap to maintain and run. My limited time with the P car Ive found: Its almost more fun than the vette in ways somtime hard to explain. Love the sound of the flat six! Its more driver focused, heavier feel to steering, longer shift gate, brakes lighter on the assist. Less techno, but it has some stuff the vette just got two years ago. 2003 vette didn't have heated seats. The Porsche is quick in its own right, but it might just feel quick cause its lighter. More room for passenger and driver than the vette. The p car will be more costly to maintain, but im doing some things now so I don't have to do later(IMS/RMS,water pump etc as a prep to long term success). I love em both at this point and no plan to sell my vette. Two different cars>Will keep you updated. Getting my other maintenance items done in two weeks.
